He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Abernathy and Audrey Eaton Abernathy; his sisters, Annette Loomis (Wayne) of Rosedale and Denise Hinshaw (Craig) of Tennessee; his niece Ashley Organ of Rosedale; and his sister-in-law Valerie Abernathy of Florida.
