She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton H. Edington and Laura Thomas Edington; her husband Joseph W. McDowell; her daughter Katherine Burch; her sisters, Edna Edington, Bertha Rogers (Will), Helen Gambaiani (Larry) and Rebecca Matusik (John); and her siblings-in-law, James McDowell (June), Gerald McDowell (Mary Jane) and Betty McDowell.
She is survived by: her daughter Billi Jo McDowell of Chesterton, IN; her son-in-law Mick Burch of Clinton; her sister Jackie Donald (Herb) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Casey Burch (Jen) of Western Springs, IL and Jessica Purcell (Jeff) of Clinton; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Reece Purcell, Theo, Nolan and Della Burch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Clinton First United Methodist Church or Parke-Vermillion County Humane Shelter.
