She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter S. Gilman and Geneva Carty Gilman; her husband Forrest H. Allen; and her brothers, Walter R. Gilman and Robert Gilman.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Allen (Atsuko) of Oceanside, CA and Karen Allen (Jerry Zollman) of Deputy, IN; her grandchildren, Christopher D. Allen of Barstow, CA and Erica M. Briggs (John) of Oceanside, CA; her great grandchildren, Evan D. Briggs of Oceanside, CA and Ella R. Briggs of Oceanside, CA; and her sister-in-law Elaine French (Alfred) of St. Berniece, IN..
