He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lavey and Zita Lavey (Stover); his siblings, Emmett Lavey and Lamoine Jacob; and his daughter Christine Hamilton Roy (Lavey).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lavey (Nenneman); his children, Kim Bridgham (Bruce) of Frankfort, IN and Steve Lavey (Haiyan Yang) of Carmel, IN; and his stepdaughter Leslie Kientzel (Kenneth) of Deltona, FL. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
