She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Garrett and Annie Mae Blankenship Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Ernest Ray Petty, Jr. (Kathy) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Richard Petty of Indianapolis, Indiana, Angel Hopwood (Robert) of Cloverdale and Crystal Perry (Jeff Trent) of Campton, Kentucky; and her sister Mary Peck of Campton, Kentucky.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
