He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Lou and Joe Lou; and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his children, Joe Schwomeyer (Abigail), Nick Schwomeyer (Gina) and Megan Barton (Jeremy); and his siblings, Dedee, Donna, Jessie (Pat), Diana (David), Travis and Denise. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
