He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence C. Birnell and Sara M. Birnell; his wife Linda Sue Birnell; and his children, Wendy Branham, Tom Bubb and Robert Bubb.
He is survived by: his children, James Bubb (Ronda), Tommy Birnell (Ophelia), Tonya Rivers (James), Terry Birnell and Donny Stout (Lori).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (201 N Lafayette St, Cloverdale, IN 46120). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
