He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie James Shrader and Rose Anne Whitt. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Irene Shrader; his daughters, Sonya Morrison, Cathy Smith, Darla Shrader, Faye Ellerman and Shannon Shrader; and his brothers, Alvie Shrader and Howard Shrader.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (201 N Lafayette St, Cloverdale, IN 46120). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
