Jay Strough Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Strough of Cloverdale, Indiana, who passed away on February 24, 2026 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jay may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jay touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack D. Strough and Virginia Lee Strough (Gardner); his sister Karen Burkett; and his brother-in-law David Brown. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Grace Hazelwood; his grandchildren, Nola Hazelwood and Christian Hazelwood (Felicity Morgan); his great grandchild Leo Morgan; his siblings, Rex Strough (Jennifer), Lisa Ingram (Joe) and Linda Brown; and his brother-in-law Joe Burkett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
