He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell A. Carney and Lucille Carney (Latham); his son Greg Carney; and his sister Linda Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Lou Ann Carney (Higer); his daughter Christy Edwards; his grandchildren, Abigail Carney, Alex Carney, Emily Carney, Kaylin Edwards, Addison Edwards and Lillian Edwards; and his sisters, Nancy Parker and Loretta Posey.
