William Eugene Weist Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Eugene Weist of Cloverdale, Indiana, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo F. Weist and Louise Caroline Weist (Fernkas); his wife Jane Annis Houston Weist; his brothers, Robert and Joseph; his daughter Fonda Janes; and his great grandchild Jacob.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Richards (Don), Donna Filer (Larry) and Amanda Huber (Greg); and his close friend Diann McCallie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (201 N Lafayette St, Cloverdale, IN 46120). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
IN lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to the Mill Pond Campus, Legacy Lane Section.
