He was predeceased by: his parents, George Francis and Addie Grace Maxwell (White); his wife Lena Maxwell (Wesley); his sons, James Russell "Jim" Maxwell and Steven Lee "Steve" Maxwell; his daughters-in-law, Jackie and Sherry Maxwell; his siblings, Jack Maxwell, Veda Todd, Jeannie and Jerry Maxwell; and his brother-in-law Charles Bellmore.
He is survived by: his sons, George Michael "Mike" Maxwell (Rosemary) of Spencer, Robert Anthony "Tony" Maxwell of Coal City and David Wayne Maxwell (Michelle) of Monrovia; his daughter-in-law Lisa Maxwell (Scharbrough); and his sisters, Betty Wright of Canton, Sally Bellmore of Spencer, Peggy Watson (Jim) of Plainfield and Evelyn Maxwell of Urbana, Illinois. He is also survived by several grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
