He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Staley; his brother Edward Staley; and his son Perry Jay "P. J." Staley. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Staley; his children, Terri Metz (Scott), James "Jim" Staley (Randi) and Betsy Sebastian (Kevin); his grandchildren, Jeff Metz (Stacey), Justin Metz, Justin Staley (Emily), Jordan Staley (Brittanie), Brianna Evans (Zach), John "Buddy" Sebade (Jayda), Cody Sebade, Katie Boone and Dalton Sebastian; and his sister Sue Grafe (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
