She was predeceased by : her parents, Mildred Underwood and Thornton Underwood; and her spouse Dell H. Nunaley, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Dell (Sophiann), Larry (Annette), Rebekah (Mary), Rachel (Jerry), Nathan, Mark and Deborah (Sean). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
