He is survived by: his wife Helen Kington (Putman); his children, Dianne Jones (Doug), Richard Kington Jr. and Stephanie Barker; his grandchildren, Brandy Moore, Rachel Bryan, Hannah Sneary, Drayton Barker and Carson Barker; and his great grandchildren, Brylea Moore, Braydon Moore, Brea Moore and Danny Sneary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
