He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene (Russell); his parents, James Brock and Sallie Brock; his sisters, Flossie, Clyda and Chelcie; his half-brothers, Clarence and Evart; his brother Gene; and his close friend Mike Stephenson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Lorene, Irene and Larry; and his grandchildren, Matthew Woods, Shelby Haltom (Terry Heymig), Nathan Brock (Rachel), Kayla Fisher (Stefan), Tyler Brock (Brandee), Nora Brock and Jordyn Henderson.
