She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Garrett and Evelyn Garrett (Schaffer); her siblings, Darlene Carrender and Gene Garrett; and her granddaughter Jill Shelley.

She is survived by : her husband Michael Stephens; her children, Mark Stephens (Cliff) of Frankfort, IN, Angela Reef (Gordon) of Moran, IN, Cindy Booher (Mike) of Colfax, IN, Lisa Harrison (Ricky) of Frankfort, IN, Mick Stephens (Sarah) of Dayton, IN and Jeff Stephens (Lacy) of Frankfort, IN; her siblings, Jay Garrett (Anita) of Frankfort, IN and Nancy Steele of Lafayette, IN; and her pets, Mitzy, Buddy and Charlie. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren.
