He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Martinez and Julia Martinez (Escaleta); and his sister Maria L. Perez. He is survived by: his wife Dawn J. Swing; his children, Rafael Martinez (Crystal) of Columbia City, Alfredo Martinez, Jr. of Florida and Lynette Martinez of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Matthew, Julia and Alex; his great grandchild Deegan; and his brothers, Raul Martinez (Gloria), Joe Martinez (Mary), Jesse Martinez and Carlos Martinez.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith & Sons Funeral Home (207 N Main St, Columbia City, IN 46725). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
