He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Byers and Marjorie Alice Davis (VanCuren); his brother Steven Byers; his wife Jeannie Byers; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Hiester and John Girard.
He is survived by: his children, Will Byers and Amanda; his son-in-law David Miller; his grandchildren, Jordan Arick (Austin), Andrea McIntrye (Draven), Tracie Rodriquez (Alejandro) and Justin Miller; his great grandchild Brennan; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Harp (Doug), Daniel Byers, Michael Davis and Jimmy Davis (Paula); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Byers, Jo Hiester, Mary Arend (Rick), Po Dawson (Ed) and Mary Kay Girard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcomed but his family prefers memorials to the Humane Society of Whitley County.
