He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Martin and Irene Martin (Wright); his wife Carol Schuman-Krider; his daughter Donna Martinez; his granddaughter Kristina Shive; and his sisters, Hilda Gaerte and Esther Rider.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Shive (Tom) of Broken Arrow, OK and Brenda Shearer (Tom) of Columbia City. He is also survived by six grandchildren seven great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
