He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber Grable and Zelda Grable (Blew); his former wife Betty Grable; his son Dennis Grable; and his siblings, Heber "Bud" Grable, Vince Grable, Phil Grable, Wanda Beeching and Peggy Hostetler.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Grable of Columbia City; and his children, Michael Grable of Columbia City, Norma Millberg of Columbia City and Renee Boehringer of Waxahachie, TX. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
