She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Phillips and Mabel Phillips (Batchelder); her stepfather Robert Kearns; and her sister Rita Mae Frost. She is survived by: her husband Joe Hummel of Columbia City; and her children, Mark Hummel of Fort Wayne, Robert "Danny" Hummel (Christina) of Columbia City and Tami Rau (Tim) of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
