He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. Priest and Violet G. Priest (McLaughlin). He is survived by: his wife Alida E. Franks; his children, Robert Priest, II (Melaura) of Columbia City, Kim Cross of Osceola and Mark Priest of Fort Wayne; and his siblings, Mike Priest (Betty) of Indianapolis, Nancy Priest of Lafayette, Shirley Short of Lafayette, Judy Nelson of Lafayette and Mary Plybon (Lewis) of Lafayette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
