She is survived by: her husband Morris Piper, Jr.; her sister Dr. Sally Mock of Lynchburg, VA; her nephew Robert "Bo" Burns of Leesburg, VA; and her cousin JoAnne Anness of Columbus, IN. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews and one great-great niece.
