He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Strietelmeier Pence; his children, David Pence (Athlene) of Kanehoe, Marjorie Donnell (Bill) of Aurora, James Pence (Courtney) of Bean Blossom, John Pence of Three Rivers, Katherine Stahl (Mark) of Columbus and Melissa Pevlor (David) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Carolyn Byrd (Cameron), Allison Donnell (Lee Burress), Katherine Donnell, Samuel Donnell (Bridget), Laura Pence, Karl Pence, Jennifer Pence, Haston Pence, Sage Pence, Nellie Pence, Bella Pence, Kimber Sims (Jacob), Kaley Stahl, Kassidy Stahl, Konner Stahl, Nathan Pevlor (Samantha), Garrett Pevlor and Lydia Pevlor; his great grandchild Elizabeth Byrd; and his sister Bette Beck of Louisville, Kentucky..

“1955 was a special Univ of Louisville School of Dentistry class. The loyal alumni are very important to the School and the profession. Sorry about your and our loss. Don’t remember if I ever met Dr. Pence, but do remember traveling to Columbus to bring and antique x-ray machine back to the School. Possibly it was his???
