It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Billy J. Acton of Columbus, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 75, on March 23, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Billy J. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Acton and Yuvonne Carpenter Acton; his siblings, Willis, Ellis, Larry Acton and Eleva Mae Morris; and his nephew Robert Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Logan West; his sons, William Acton of Indianapolis and Joseph Acton (Brennan) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Joseph Acton Jr., Andrew Rotert, James Rotert and Case Rotert; and his brother Jerry Acton (Sondra) of Brownstown.

We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.

Memorial contributions may be made to Foundation For Youth to help kids play basketball or Ogilville Christian Church Mission Teams.
