She was predeceased by: her parents, Max L. Barkes and Doris A. Adams Barkes. She is survived by: her sister Sue Barkes of Columbus; her cousins, Karen Lambert of Columbus, Cheri and Keith Reeves of Columbus; and her pet Emmett.
