The passing of Carla Sue Sarver of Columbus, Indiana, born in Seymour, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 19, 2025 at the age of 65. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Leslie B Cornett (Les); her stepfather Donald Gene Day; her parents-in-law, Clint and Kathleen Sarver; and her grandparents, John, Virginia Booher, Isaac (Ike), Ola Cornett and Alice Fletcher.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Sarver; her mother Carlene Day (Booher); her children, Raymound Victor Cornett and Leslie Wilson (Austin); her grandchildren, Nathanael, Mercedes and Virginia; her siblings, L. Brian Cornett (Barbara) and Lisa Ann Trilling; and her sister-in-law Barbara Badger (Charles). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (4th St, North Vernon, IN 47265).
Any donations can be made to Samaritan's Purse (OCC) and will be mailed on her behalf by the family.
