He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Oscar Fields Sr. and Delta Fields (Adams). He is survived by: his children, Robby Fields (Fawnda) of Dover, Florida and Angie Fields of North Vernon; his siblings, Art Fields Jr. (Elizabeth) of North Vernon, Arthur Theodore Fields of Kentucky, Harry Thomas Fields of Kentucky, Jackie Marling of Columbus, Marsha Fields of Columbus and Sadie Smith of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Blake Fields of Columbus, Haley Fields of Scipio and Cody Fields of North Vernon; and his great grandchildren, Olivia of Scipio, Chloie Fields of Scipio, Luka of Columbus and Zayden Fields of Columbus.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at the Baldwin Cemetery - Vernon (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
Memorials may be made in honor of Ted through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
