He was predeceased by: his sister Ginny (Dennis); and his brother-in-law Patrick (Ann). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Carol Niewold; his children, Kristianna "Janna" (Terry), Erika (Keith), Catherine "Kate" (Spencer), Peter, Caroline "Carrie" (Scott), Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Josh), Emily and McKay; his grandchildren, Otto, Harrison, Truman, O'Malley, Braedon, Murren, Bevin, Charles "Charlie", Grace, Frederik "Freddy", Gustaf "Gus", Wallace "Wally", Magnus, Wyatt, Marshal and Shepard "Shep"; and his siblings, Ann, Jeri, John (Susie) and Jay (Joy). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, countless friends, coworkers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (4850 W Goeller Blvd, Columbus, IN 47201). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1997 S 400 E St, Springville, UT 84663).
