It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Rowe (Columbus, Indiana), born in Greensburg, Indiana, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John R. Moulton and Lenna Way Moulton; her children, Tom Chelton (Beth) of Austin, Joan Chelton of Columbus, Katie Throckmorton (Bruce) of Mount Pleasant and Peter Chelton of Salem Massachusetts; her stepdaughter Suzanne (Roe); her former husband Vern Chelton; her husband E. J. Rowe (Pinky); and her stepdaughter Marianne Rowe of Naperville, IL.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Brown Scholarship Program at the Heritage Fund.

“For most of my formative years until college, my weekly time with "Mrs." Rowe was cherished. We grew to understand each other on a very special level. I learned so much about piano, music, creativity and myself during those years. I hope that the last time I saw her she gathered that from me. My heart goes out to her family and friends.
