She was predeceased by : her parents, Herschel J. Thorpe and Bessie Mae Sylvia Thorpe; her husband Sam Ogilvie; and her siblings, Herschel "Bud" Thorpe and Willa Mae Norris.
She is survived by : her children, Gene Ogilvie of Columbus and Nadine Rockwell (Mark) of Athens, Alabama. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
