With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Ellen Fleming Rose of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reasy Smith and Gledith West Smith; her former husband George Neal Fleming; her husband Everett C. Rose; and her brothers, Alva Smith and Willard Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Fleming (Debbi) of Columbus, Candace Watson (Mike) of Columbus and Troy Fleming (Amanda) of Columbus; her grandchildren, George Fleming, Michelle Matney (Tyson), Makenzie Rasnick (Shane), Matthew Watson (Elizabeth Krell), Rhett Fleming (Janelle) and Wyatt Fleming (Maddie); her great grandchildren, Connor, Emmalyn and Hudson Matney; her siblings, Ivan Smith of Taylorsville, Jerry Smith (Risa) of Norman, Elma Trendelman (Ron) of Columbus and Lois Suiter (Don) of Shelbyville; and her pet Babydoll. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
