He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William F. Carothers (Ruth), Mildred Carothers, Logan and Margaret Ping. He is survived by: his parents, William E. Carothers and Linda L. Carothers of Columbus; his daughter Abigayle Sweeney (Levi) of Brownstown; and his siblings, Lucinda "Cindy" Weisner of Columbus and Ross Carothers (Shelli) of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "The Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County" to establish a memorial fund in Curt's memory to support agricultural education.
