She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Anderson and Fabiana Lezama Anderson. She is survived by: her family Cynthia; her husband Robert Modeste; her children, Sean Modeste and Roberta Duncan; her son-in-law Eustace "Richard" Duncan; her grandchildren, Abra Barnett, Luric Duncan, Dahlia Duncan and Donovan Duncan; her great grandchild Xavier Barnett Robinson; her siblings, Stephanie Regis, Monica Ford, Elizabeth "Petty" Hamilton, Kent Anderson and McLean Anderson; her in-laws, Hamilton Modeste, Rennie Modeste, Norbert Modeste, Margo Williams, Isilda Modeste and Lorna Hunte; and her siblings, Kelvin Anderson, Clebert "Ossie" Lezama, Pearl "Pinky" De Coteau and Peter "Kenrick" Anderson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren and spiritual children.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in honor of Cynthia Modeste to one of the ministries which she supported: Benny Hinn Ministries, Freedom Ministries (Pastor David Hogan), Deeper Life Ministries (Pastor Ross Collette); and/or to the Alzheimer's Association.
