With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Don E. Crouse of Columbus, Indiana, born in Clay City, Indiana, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alva Marion and Gladys L. Crouse (Light); and his siblings, Austin Crouse, Hubert Crouse, Ray Crouse, Carl Crouse, Martha Elizabeth Crouse, Mary Lou Light and Dorothy Smith.

He is survived by : his wife Geraldine Crouse (Pell); his children, Joni Butenhoff, Donn Crouse II (Heather) and Lana Frey (Scott); and his grandchildren, Zackary Butenhoff, Emily Frey and Anna Frey. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home (301 E 8th St, Clay City, IN 47841). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
