She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Smith and Margaret Ash Smith; her son Howard Neil Empson; her great grandchild Olivia Doreen Willmore; and her siblings, Ernest Smith, Isabel Bailey, Sara George and Kathleen Dale.
She is survived by : her children, Sharman Willmore (David) of Cincinnati, OH and David Empson (Sherree) of Plainfield, IN; her grandchildren, Erin Peters (Michael) of Georgetown, OH, Laura Diebel (Randy) of Wentzville, MO, Jonathan Willmore (Erica) of New Lisbon, IN, Emily Drayne (Robert) of Winston-Salem, NC, Jenny Empson of Clayton, IN, Stephan Empson (Kathy) of Collegeville, PA, Stacey Hamm (Ben) of Columbia City, IN, Christie DeMarco (Erik) of Ft. Wayne, IN, David Bain (Celine) of Columbus, IN, Shannon Dailey (Robbie) of Hope, IN, Amanda Dreyer (Matt) of Greencastle, IN and Sara Empson of Columbus, IN; and her sisters-in-law, Sana Smith of Antrim, NIR, Dorothy Empson Richards of Brownstown, IN and Josephine Empson Brock of Brownstown, IN. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
