She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Gilstrap and Doneda Ritchison Gilstrap Harker; her husband Louis Brown; her son Daniel Lee Brown; and her siblings, Mary Brown, Thelma Gilstrap and Eugene Gilstrap.

She is survived by: her children, Doneda Diane Henry Brown of Columbus and Hallett Brown (Loretta) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Malachi Henry, DC, Sabrina Hodge (Matt), Dr. Veronica Turner (Kyle), Sandy King (Chaz), Lester Brown (Kristen) and Joshua Brown; her great grandchildren, David, Colin, Jordan, Adalyn Hodge, Kadel, Malia Turner, Newla, Luna King, Devin, Matthew and Makaila Brown; her sister Wilma J. Hiveley of Seymour; and her sister-in-law Brenda Brown of Medora. She is also survived by her husband with their children.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators, Animal C.A.R.E.

“I'm very sad to hear of your Mom's/Grandma's/Great-grandma's passing. She was my mom's next door neighbor and friend at Keepsake Village. I had several opportunities to talk with her and enjoyed hearing about the farming she did and the cows she milked. I can see her beautiful smile and hear her sweet voice. I noticed she had not been around recently, and I hoped she would be back. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven someday, as does my mom. May God comfort your family. -- Beatrice's daughter”
