It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight D. Grooms of Columbus, Indiana, born in Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude S. Grooms and Thelma Edwards Grooms; his brother Dwayne Grooms; his daughter-in-law Karen Grooms; and his great grandchild Leah Vance.

He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Koehler; his children, John Grooms (Kathy) of Webster, MA, Troy Grooms of California, Merritt Grooms of California and Travis Grooms of Columbus; and his siblings, Carole Woods (Phillip) of Naples, FL, Claudette Barnette (David) of Columbus, OH and Marshall Grooms (Diane) of Arizona. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice of charity.
