It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Joseph Engelau of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold "Pete" Herman and Wanda Engelau; and his grandparents, Fred, Dorothy Rotert, Herman and Malinda Engelau.
He is survived by: his spouse Erin Morris; his daughters, Maddie Whiteside (Andy), Ella Engelau, Annie Engelau and Sophia Engelau; and his brothers, Jason Engelau (Tracey) of Seymour, Adam Engelau (Casey) of Seymour, Troy Engelau (Jenny) of Seymour and Greg Baxter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be given in memory of Ed to help his daughters with their college education.
