He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar G. Boling and Katie Nichols Boling; his daughter Judith Ann Boling; his siblings, Clay, Carlos Boling and Dorothy Boling; and his son-in-law Richard E. "Rick" Weafer.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie; and his children, Dee Weafer of Columbus, Richard Boling (Jeanne) of Hopkinsville and Edward L. Boling Jr. (Tonya) of Louisville, Kentucky. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
