He is survived by: his siblings, Elmer Thompson and Mary Sanders; the mother of his children Chris Blackmon; his children, Elton Tompson Jr. (Christine), Charlotte Thompson, Beverly Dickerson, Jeff Gambleton (Relonda) and Cassandra Thompson; and his grandchildren, John Thompson, Barbara Ball, Suevenna Thompson, Demonte Thompson, Stephanie Smith (John), Santroine Dickerson (Shanitra), Lakeisha Reed (Karnavis), Ka'Shawn Gambleton, Shynetra Lettre (Tyler), Elton Thompson III, Zamale Davis, Nicholaus Weddington and Taylor Irvin. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
