She was predeceased by: her parents, Choice Thomas Sr. and Bertha Frances Chinn Thomas; her husband Truman; her children, Mark Pickens and Kathy Jo Pickens; and her siblings, Choice Thomas Jr., Richard Thomas and Mabel St. John.
She is survived by: her sons, Marty Pickens (Debbie) of Lebanon and Tim Pickens (Tracy) of North Vernon; her brother Anthony Thomas (Sherry); her grandchildren, Christopher Pickens (Elizabeth), Isabelle Pickens, Brandon Pickens, Melinda Walsh (Nathan), Charles Pickens, Lucas Pickens and Anna Carey (Matt); her great grandchildren, Amaylie Walsh, Briella Walsh, Andrea Snelson, Keagan Walsh (Holly Rothrock), Peyton Lange (Jentry), Thomas Pickens and Charlotte Pickens; and her great great grandchild Saylor Walsh.
