She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Boyd and Addie Troxel Boyd; her husband Malcom R. Baker; her children, Margaret Spurgeon, Lutreasia Gilbert, Elby Griffin, Wanda Griffin and Debra Lynn Griffin; and her siblings, Maggie Chambers, Rosie Poynter, Edda May Williams, Nellie Goode, Ray Boyd, Harrison Boyd and Albert Boyd.
She is survived by: her sons, Alvin R. Griffin (Betty), Donald Lee Griffin (Barbara Jean) and Larry M. Griffin (Joyce); and her stepson Mark Baker (Diane). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and 68 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
