He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Ray Dile and Leada Burton Dile Blair; his sons, Larry Sluder and Douglas Ray Dile; and his siblings, Betty Walker, Virginia Dile, Anna Dile, Marie Dile and Noah Dile.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Dile (Williams); his children, Leada Carr (Dean), Dodie Dile, Shelly Owens (Pat) and Arlon Williams; his sisters, Pearlie Whited, Naomi Fleetwood Pyle, Elizabeth Hammond and Sue Ballard; his grandchildren, Marc Phelps, Bradley Williams, Michael Williams, Matthew Phelps, Shayla Williams, Major Dile, Jada Dile and Brittany Miller; and his great grandchildren, Chatham, Fisher, Porter, Cooper, Parker, Finley, Hendrix, Amaya, Nova, Michael, Alyssa, Brycen, Brileigh, Alexis, Aria, Anastasia, Allyson, Liam and Mason.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rittman Family Funeral Home (3855 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Ray may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society through the funeral home.
