We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2024, at the age of 96, Evelyn Menser Simpson of Columbus, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas M. Simpson; her son Barton Simpson; her parents, Marion Leslie Menser and Lois Fisher Menser; and her siblings, Lorene Menser Sparks, Jewell Menser and Norman Menser. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

“Ms. Evelyn was my secretary from 1980-1989 at Bartholomew County Hospital. She was incredible! During the time we were together i gave birth to our two children born on her birthday, 10/9/1980 & 10/9/82. Ms. Evelyn not only kept all of my work schedule straight but she also kept all of our children’s appointments from medical to swimming lessons on the “master schedule.” She always gave her utmost to make my career & life well organized with grace & dignity. Rest well, Ms. Evelyn & thank you”
