He is survived by: his wife Becky Burton Gilbert (Merrick); his children, Bernie Gilbert, Mark Gilbert, Tony Gilbert, Mike Gilbert, Debbie Sexton and Wyona Hoover; and his brothers, Rick Gilbert (Peggy) of Columbus, IN and Larry Gilbert (Edith) of Indianapolis, IN..
