It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garrel L. Lowman of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank W. Lowman and Opal M. Burton Lowman; his sister Betty Cutsinger; and his nephew Eric Lowman. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Rutan; his daughter Tammy Reel of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Alonza Brown (David) of Columbus, Melody Petro of Columbus and Justin Petro (Julia) of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Callee Fredricksen (Bryce), Raven Rathburn, Aiden DeHaven, Makaela West, Wade Petro and Jenna Petro; his great great grandchildren, Xavier Fredricksen, Leona Lashley and Lula Fredricksen; and his siblings, Rufus Lowman of Elizabethtown and Joann Rich of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
