Gary G. Imlay Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary G. Imlay of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Michael Imlay (Tammy) of Columbus, Russell Imlay (Amy) of Columbus, Jeffrey Imlay (Mary) of Louisville, KY, Beth Ann Roth (Steve) of Columbus and Suzy Richardson (Michael) of Columbus; his sister Betty Henry of Columbus; his parents, Russell E. Imlay and Betty McCoy Ellerbee; and his siblings, JoAnn Imlay, Martin "Bud" and Robert Imlay. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to East Columbus Christian Church or Hilltop Christian Camp.
