She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Burton and Minnie L. Henderson Burton; her husband Samuel P. Bowles; her son Bryan Keith Bowles; and her sisters, Carolyn Turnmeier, Sheila Cox and Regina Goldsmith.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Patton of Columbus and Stephen Bowles of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Shelby Griffith of Martinsville, Lauren Rader of Indianapolis, Kim Rios of Columbia, KY and Samuel J. Patton of Columbia, KY; and her brother Michael Burton of Columbus. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
